81 - Jack Franicevich on Sunday, Biblical Time, and Secular Lent

Chase Davis

In this interview with Jack Franicevich, we discuss the biblical reality of the first day of the week being Sunday. Jack shares his research regarding the importance of Sunday worship as the normal way that God has structured the time for Christinas. We talk about Christians who need to work on Sundays and how they should participate in worship. We also dive into the topic of Christian and secular holidays exploring “pride month” as a thematic month.

Jack is a middle school classics teacher in Chicago. He is a graduate of Denver Seminary and serves as a deacon in the Anglican Church North America. His forthcoming book on time and worship called “Sunday” will be published by Athanasius Press.
